For us, sustainability does not mean “being perfect,” but setting out on the journey anew every day. In many small steps, we implement measures that combine ecological, social, and economic responsibility. This awareness is not just a concept for us - it is part of our daily life and our decisions. We take responsibility in clearly defined areas of action and continuously work to improve.
Our drinking water comes directly from the alpine meadow - a precious resource. With water-saving fixtures, we significantly reduce consumption without compromising comfort. A water carafe is available in every room so that together we can avoid single-use bottles.
We reduce our energy consumption step by step and strengthen our independence. LED lighting, solar energy from our in-house photovoltaic system, and efficient hot water production are part of this approach. What we do not produce ourselves, we source as 100% green South Tyrolean electricity from hydropower.
We avoid waste as early as possible and consistently separate it throughout the entire house. We avoid single-use items, rely on durable solutions, and return recyclable materials to the recycling cycle. In doing so, we ensure the conscious and resource-efficient use of all materials in our daily operations.
Cleanliness is important to us - but without unnecessary strain on nature and health. That’s why we clean throughout the entire house using only steam, without any additional chemicals. This reliably removes germs while protecting surfaces and materials.
We promote car-free mobility. Traffic-calmed areas support a peaceful environment and reduce traffic. Guests and employees receive support in getting around locally in a gentle and sustainable way. We also continuously seek lower-emission solutions within our supply chain.
Our cuisine reflects our homeland. We cook with high-quality, regional, and seasonal products - whenever possible sourced directly. Many of our producers we know personally, and this close connection makes the difference: short distances, fresh ingredients, and a quality we stand behind with conviction.
Our consistent efforts have been recognized: we carry the GSTC certification - one of the world’s highest standards for sustainable tourism. In addition, we have entered the South Tyrol Sustainability Label at the highest level (Level 3). For our guests, this means: a holiday with a clear conscience - transparent, verified, and genuine.
This achievement is both motivation and confirmation for us - it shows that we are on the right path and encourages us to continue consistently pursuing our vision of a sustainable future.
Our actions have an impact - on nature and on people. That is why it is important to us that our team feels well, too. We offer flexible, individual working models that allow space for personal needs. Continuing education is a top priority for us: we support the professional and personal development of our employees and cover the costs for training and further education. Because those who feel comfortable and can grow shape the spirit of this house.
